Public information about the people who represent you
CivicLenZ organizes civic records into readable profiles of elected officials and the offices they hold. Its current collection work begins in Florida, connecting people, seats, occupancies and election-related information with the source material supporting each record.
For residents and civic researchers
The intended users are residents trying to understand their representation and people researching public institutions. The product aims to make an official’s identity, role and relevant public information easier to explore without requiring the visitor to reconstruct the story across many separate sources.
Source trails and accountable records
Evidence matters as much as the summary. CivicLenZ’s work keeps observations connected to their sources, distinguishes unresolved identities or vacancies and makes room for correction. Collection, private review and public publication are separate stages of the developing system.
